Floor ListingsThe Ogden has been a Colfax Avenue fixture for more than a century: a 1917 movie palace turned one of Denver's busiest rock rooms. Here's who's coming, how the room works, and how to get there. Resale listings via BuyTickets.com.

The room
Look for the vertical blade sign and the Mediterranean-style facade on East Colfax near Ogden Street. The Ogden Theatre holds about 1,600 for concerts. The general-admission floor slopes down toward the stage, so even the back half of the room can see over the crowd, and the balcony gives you a full view if you'd rather not be on the floor.
It books a bit of everything: indie and alt-rock tours, bass and electronic nights, hip-hop, jam bands, and the occasional comedy show. Plenty of artists play the Ogden on their way up to Red Rocks, and plenty of Red Rocks headliners come back here for a smaller night.
ogdentickets.com is an independent resale guide. We are not the box office, and we're not the Ogden Theatre or AEG Presents. Tickets come through BuyTickets.com, and Colorado shows are also on 303tickets.com.
History
The Ogden opened on September 6, 1917. Its builders were John Thompson, who had opened the Bluebird a few years earlier, and the theater manager Henry Goodridge. Denver architect Harry W. J. Edbrooke designed it. It started out showing films with a Kimball pipe organ, and over the years it hosted vaudeville and lectures before settling in as a cinema. In the '80s that meant midnight runs of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
After a run of tough years, the building reopened as a live-music venue in 1993. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. Today it hosts well over a hundred concerts a year, and it's one of the oldest working theaters in the city.

All Ogden DatesResale vs primary
Ogden shows usually go on sale through the venue's primary ticketing partner, often with presales first. A lot of shows in a room this size sell out. Resale is useful when the onsale is gone, when you need a pair together, or when your plans change the week of the show.
Compare the all-in total, not the teaser price, and check whether the ticket is GA floor or balcony. BuyTickets orders are covered by a 100% buyer guarantee. Read the current terms before checkout. Need a person? Call 855-855-6777.
Tickets are mobile, so transfer them to your phone before you head over. Don't pay anyone off-platform for a sold-out Ogden night, no matter how good the deal looks.
Getting there
Colfax is one of Denver's best streets for a night out before a show. You'll find diners, dive bars, taco spots, and a few cocktail bars within a few blocks of the Ogden. Downtown is a short ride west if you're staying there. Bag rules and entry policies are set by the venue and can change from show to show, so check them the day of.
Stay nearby
Capitol Hill and Uptown put you within walking distance of the Ogden. Downtown and Union Station are a short ride away. Cherry Creek is quieter if you don't mind a rideshare after the show.
